Panasonic will today unveil two new series of all-black Evervolt solar modules at RE+. The new HK Black Series 430W / 420W panels adopt Heterogeneous Technology (HJT) with half-cut cells and gapless junctions. The new VK Black Series 400W/390W units use PERC half cells at a lower price for consumers.
The efficiency of the 430W and 420W EverVolt HK Black Series units is 22.2% and 21.7% respectively. Panasonic units are expected to be at least 92% energy efficient after 25 years of installation.
Panasonic's new 400W/390W VK Black Series modules have unit efficiencies of 20.5% and 20% respectively and at least 84.8% capacity after 25 years.

Both new models are covered by Panasonic's EverVolt AllGuard All System Warranty when purchased with the EverVolt ESS 2.0, which covers solar panels and battery storage when connected. The Evervolt AllGuard All System Warranty covers product and labor performance for all major system components, including Panasonic's 25-year solar panel warranty; 25 years for shelving systems; 10 years for inverter and 10 years for Panasonic EverVolt 2.0 ESS. Both lines of units will be available in spring 2023. EverVolt ESS 2.0 will ship starting in January 2023.
