Jakarta (Antara) - The state-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia has demonstrated its commitment to promoting green industry principles in the management of logistics business, including the use of electric vehicles and green renewable energy.In a statement in Jakarta on Saturday, Post Indonesia Courier and Logistics Business Director Citi Choiriana said the deployment of clean energy and electric vehicles aims to help companies compete domestically and internationally.

Choiriana said her company currently has more than 300 electric motorcycles and more than 10 electric cars. These vehicles are used by couriers, especially female couriers.
Pos Indonesia has used electric vehicles for shipping and logistics in various locations such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Bali.
In addition to using electric vehicles, Post Indonesia has also started using clean energy from solar radiation.
So far, there have only been two POS Indonesia solar pilot projects: the service office in Bali and the logistics warehouse in Tambun, Bekasi, West Java.

He pointed out that the service office in Bali will use solar energy as the area is the center of Indonesia's G20 presidential event.
Meanwhile, the use of solar energy in the logistics warehouse in Tambun aims to provide a complete service for micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
