Open Homes Australia Episode 7: Frenchinspired Home With Solar Technology Installed By SunEnergy

Tusmar, Adelaide was an incredible home featured in Series 7 of Open Homes Australia. Visitors were greeted by the amazing James Treble as they met the owner of the beautiful French style home. Arched windows and doors, a steep pitched roof and a front yard complete the house's classical architecture.

A piece of Paris in Adelaide

Classic stucco, white, gray and slate tones, and a cobbled patio welcome visitors to this beautiful home that has been haphazardly remodeled. Inside the house, visitors can enjoy sumptuous chandeliers, laminated floors and gorgeous beamed ceilings. Classic furniture and decorations highlight the white walls, ceilings, moldings and built-in wardrobes.

The dressing room features a vibrant color scheme while maintaining an elegant and classic French theme. Homeowner Delilah was picking out the perfect floral wallpaper for her bathroom the other day, and her latest pick is stunning.

The kitchen really shines with French inspiration. The combination of oven and hob, crockery, cabinets and nightstands completes the classic theme perfectly. The kitchen is part of a large living area that includes a dining and living area. The space is surrounded by large windows that provide plenty of natural light and reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day.

Solar technology harnesses Adelaide's sun

Large rooms and many windows make heating and cooling difficult. But thanks to a large solar array installed by SunEnergy, quarterly electricity bills are now down to zero from $1,200. SunEnergy is a leading solar energy retailer providing solar installation services in South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland. They offer installation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, electric vehicle chargers and hot water systems.

Roshan explained that homeowners needed solar panels to be installed that were invisible from the street, and SunEnergy was able to supply a 20kW solar system and a 27kW Tesla Powerwall battery. The system provides the home with an average of 80 kilowatts of electricity per day, with excess energy stored in batteries for use at night and on cloudy days.

With four air conditioners, homeowners can enjoy day and night comfort in all seasons thanks to its solar panel and battery storage solution.
