Vivint Smart Home announced a new feature for Vivint Smart Energy customers that allows them to view solar production data directly within the Vivint app. This feature is the next step in adding solar power to the Vivint Smart Home experience and helps customers create a smarter, greener and safer home that saves money.
With direct monitoring through the Vivint app, Vivint customers will be able to see the clean power output of their solar power systems, including information on how much power their panels are producing, the performance of the energy production and possible savings. . This feature will be available to existing Vivint customers with an Enphase inverter and customers with SolarEdge inverters installed by Freedom Forever, with plans to expand to other customers in the near future.
